The first 3 days back of 2017 consisted of operatives attending three areas of training. Confined spaces, taking part at SHC HQ with Steve Burden, First Aid with AID training and slinger/signaller, CAT & Genny and safety & excavation from Colin Vout and support from MGF. Over 50% of the company were certified in these subjects – thank you to all that participated.

SHC have recently been awarded 2 new developments.The contracts included:

• Chy Ryn Parc - Wadebridge, Cornwall for Taylor Wimpey - 110 units.
• Harford Mews - Ivybridge, Devon for Persimmon Homes - 74 units.

We have received 100% completion for the CML's in December. We would like to thank all the guys on the sites that have been working late and on weekends to ensure that all CML's were achieved.

SHC are honoured to receive the award for Subcontractor of the Year from Taylor Wimpey Exeter. SHC feel that they have built a strong relationship with TWE over the past years and look forward to it continuing into 2017.

We would like to welcome “Shaky” Colwill back to the SHC team. Shaky previously worked for Steve Hoskin Construction over 15 years ago, before leaving to pursue his own business ventures. He is now back with the SHC team to share his wealth of knowledge and experience.
