On Tuesday 29^th May the Junior team of Jamie Palmer, Ryan Gregory and Harry Taylor, from St Mellion International Resort, played at Lanhydrock Golf Club in the area qualifier for the England Junior Team Event. The boys with a combined score of 102 stableford points won the event. They will now represent St Mellion and Cornwall in the National Finals at Frilford Heath on 16^th/17^th August. Everyone at St Mellion is very proud of the achievement of these three young men, wishing them the very best of luck in the finals.

The St Mellion Academy run by Jason Avery, PGA Teaching Professional, was set up to introduce young people in the area to golf. With many children now attending regular teaching sessions and playing programme. The success of Jamie, Ryan and Harry, is a clear indication of what Jason is now achieving at St Mellion.
