Elm Park, Matford
Elm Park is a large development on the outskirts of Exeter which includes circa. 9,000m² of road and 3,700m of drainage. SHC mobilised on site back in early 2021, the initial works included an element of surcharging, this was to overcome varying ground conditions in order to construct plot foundations and infrastructure. The site comprises of 245 units which include four blocks of flat, detached, semi-detached and terraced plots. SHC will also be responsible for constructing 3 attenuation basins, a SANGS carpark which will be adopted by Teignmouth Council, a sensory garden & allotments.

Bellevue Phase 2, Bude
SHC have recently been awarded the enabling works to the second phase at Bude. This will initial consist of 30 plots & partial installation of the site road which links onto phase 1. Prior to construction of the phase 2 plots, some main service works had to take place on this phase. This included an overhead cables diversion as well as a water main diversion through the site.
Bellevue, Bude
SHC are continuing construction on phase 1 at Bellevue Bude, this has included installation 6,500m² of road, around 3,250m of drainage and installing 3 attenuation basins. An attenuation basin works by preventing flooding by controlling the amount of stormwater that is released into the environment at any given time. When a storm event occurs, the attenuation basin simply fills up and stores large volumes of rainwater temporarily. The site comprises of 144 units including detached, semi-detached and terraced plots which are all traditional strip foundations.
Equinox Phase 2, Exeter
Following on from the first phase located just over the road, Phase 2 consists of 81 Plots and associated infrastructure. Equinox Phase 2 is part of the wider development in this area where a new community is being formed which will eventually see a fully equipped sports field, allotments, Park and Ride services to Exeter, plus new local shops and businesses, along with a planned primary school. This phase has included the installation of 2,600m² of road and a SDS attenuation tank. SHC are now constructing the last 15 plots on this phase
